In 2015, a major regional hospital needed a HIPAA compliant telemedicine solution to support some very specific objectives. At the time, the systems available were either overpriced or overkill.  The hospital spent countless hours watching demonstrations and evaluating systems until they decided to develop a system with the feature set that they needed in an affordable, rapidly deployable package. As such, Florida Healthnet was created. To their surprise, several local healthcare professionals and organizations embraced this strategy and implemented the solution into their practices.

Between 2015 and 2018, the solution gained rapid acceptance – growing regionally, and then, internationally.  Throughout that time, cloud-based solutions also matured and began to offer a greater benefit than locally hosted and managed solutions. Given the growing demand, and the shift in technology, the product ultimately needed a dedicated full-time staff to manage the day-to-day operations. Simply e-Connect was born.

Today, Simply e-Connect continues to provide value to users by upgrading their systems to the finest technologies and expanding the software’s feature set, all while maintaining a surprisingly affordable solution. You can still find the original architects speaking at telemedicine engagements all over North America, in addition to consulting users on best practices and innovative ways to deploy telemedicine.
